sickness after a meningitis vaccine?

Issue
i got a meningitis vaccine yesterday. my arm is sore where i got the shot,, that seems normal to me. but my chest feels kinda tight and i have a dry cough. i can breath fine but if i take a really deep breath i get a kinda irritating feeling in my chest. i dont know if i should go back to the doctor yet because i just had a cold and i still kinda got a runny nose and i recall feeling this way before my shot to all though im not sure. also im a 1st class hypochondriac. are there serious side effects to vaccines?

Best Tip
What you describe are common side effects to vaccines. It's most likely your immune system revving up.

If you begin to have trouble breathing, severe headache, or run fevers, go back to see the doctor.

It is VERY common to have flu-like symptoms after this vaccine. (I've given it to many people, so I should know.) Source(s): Lots of good info on: www.meningitis.org

Well you could have some kind of allergic reaction to the vaccination.
I don't think there can be serious side affects to vaccine, but what I know for sure is that the body's immune system fights back the new cell that is entering the body for the first time. That's why after the vaccine your arm gets swollen and you feel like you have a fever, or you can actually have a fever.
my son had the same shot at about the age of 2 and he was fine, so side effects. waiting now for my 10 year old daughter to get one as well. see your doctor if you feel something is wrong.
Very serious side effects to all vaccines

Do not get vaccinated. There is no scientific proof that the theory of vaccination is valid, yet there is considerable proof that Vaccines cause illness and death.
