*Health Issues>>>Alternative Medicine issues>>>Does acupuncture work for chronic muscle pains? |
Issue I understand that the needles could hit points on the body that could release endorphines to make you feel better, but what about a chronic or long term relief? Is there any medical treatment associated to accupuncture? Best Tip It works so well!! I have been to an accupuncturist for 4 years now. The beauty of it is it cures and heals, not covers up the symptoms which is what pharmacuticals do. Say you have pms, headache, backpain, and are really stressed out. You can get a treatment and all these problems are worked on at the same time!! If you went to a regular doctor, you would get ten different medicines that give you a million side affects. Remember that chinese medicine has been around for 2000 years where as our medical programs seem to still be in the experimental stages. Go for it I promise you will wish you went along time ago. Plus you don't feel al thing and it is very theraputic. Others some times Acupuncture along with cupping has helped me YES it definatly does! yoga and massage are also very good things for chronic muscle pain. it doesnt just work on the release of endorphines , thats part of it but the biggest reason those things work is because they relax your muscles, muscle tension can be chronic, expecially when youve had a physical injury to it, you may not even realize that your unable to completely relax the muscle, so acupunture and yoga help you to train them to relax and by doing that your making it easier to heal and allowing any twisted muscles pinched nerves and knots to be released or worked out, doesnt work right away but it DOES work. Most definitely. Try going to your acupuncturist, then to a foot reflexologist, then a therapeutic massage therapist. All in one day, in that order. You will be amazed at the results. Oh sex on a regular basis is the best way to release endorphines without medical assistance. Life I have had acupuncture for my diet , also to stop smoking cigarettes, and to work on my circulation. It all worked for me. Although I have not had an chronic pain. I had been a chronic smoker. I know that the acupuncture works and if I would ever experience any chronic pain I would sure use acupuncture as well as my doctors advice. Good Luck!! |
