Was there a change before your last orhodontist visit?

My orthodontist doesn't specify when I want to know when I'll have my braces removed. November will be a year since I got my braces. I usually get my appointments every 5 weeks. But my last visit was the 1st and the next is Nov. 7th. Does that mean that's my last visit? My teeth are pretty straight.

ur ortho will know how you are progressing, if they tell u keep em on, it's best to just get used to it, and keep it stop complaining, the finished product is wayyyy worth it, i wore mine for 10months, and i was supposed to for 15, it depends on how fast u respond to treatment, and also it's not about you straight teeth only, it's about the bite, .... i dunno how she did it, but the back of my teeth was raised or something... big difference from the before and after photos of my teeth..

you ortho would have told you if you were to get them off next appoinment. sometimes braces are on longer than a year........even if he told you it would only be 1 year.
As other people have already said, don't be suprised if the braces are not removed in November. Unfortunately, teeth do not always move as fast as we would like them to, and sometimes a removal date for braces can be postponed (mine was 3 times).
