Toothache. Can you take advil and tylenol together?

Issue
Toothache. Can you take advil and tylenol together?

Best Tip
Yes. The Tylenol works on nerve pain, and the Advil works on soft tissue swelling and any sinus pressure. Advil is also a fever reducer.

Take only one of each pill at the same time. Repeat every four hours if the pain is moderate to severe...every six if it's mild to moderate.

Best to do this with a little bit of food in your stomach if you can, and don't forget to keep drinking water.

If it's an abscess, a big cavity, or a missing filling that's hurting you, get it fixed ASAP. Good luck.

Others
for THAT, you have to ask a doctor.
you need taters.
you shouldn't take both with the same swig of water, but if you're worried about both being in your system at the same time, it's not a big deal. the max doses are 4000 mg/day for tylenol & 3200 mg/day for advil, so you do the math. you'll probably be fine, just don't go nuts and take those maxes in the same day.
it wont kill you or make you sick, and I've done it before (yes it helps), but another alternative is alternating each dose. Advil first then four hours later tylenol... and so on.
take advil to ease pain, not both at once
Yeah you can man. through some kodeine or vicodin on top of it that should realy get it.
