What do cavaties look like?

Best Tip
They would be very hard to see at first. It would have to grow quite a bit for you to see it. It would look like a small dark area on the bottom-under side of your tooth. Good Luck ! :)

Others
Cavities will generally start out as tiny brown dots on your enamel before growing larger. Really if you see any discolored spots or have sensitivity in the area of the spot, then most likely it is a cavity. Go to your dentisit to always be sure.
they are usually either brown and sticky or black
There black, brown, and sometimes there is a whole that forms on the tooth where the cavitiy is. Hurts bad!!!!
you probably would not be able to actually see it, but it is cause by the rotting away of your tooth and it makes a hole in your teeth.
Here you go. http://www.members.aol.com/swf08302/wizd... That is a pretty huge cavity, though. If you look in the mirror, you may see no more than some brown spots or lines in the grooves on the biting surfaces of your teeth. Under the surface, though, it looks quite a bit like the photo.
