do orthodontists typically run credit checks? |
Issue i have been receiving treatment with braces for 10 months now. the ortho i was going to was letting me pay out my 2500 treatment at 100 dollars per month and their office doesnt run credit checks. well, he is elderly and sick and i was told last week his practice is closing. i still have 1 year of treatment left to go and am having to now switch to a new orthodontist. i have a consultation with a new ortho this monday but am so worried they are going to base it on a credit check. my credit is bad. if they do run credit and it's bad will it have an effect at all that i have been paying the other office on time, every month 100 dollars per month? Best Tip well they do run credit checks but there not real picky, its not the same as buying a house or something haha, they will be looking for good payments, they wont want to see anything left unpaid currently so if you have any debts that are in colections or something get it taken care of asap (you should do that anyway) im pretty sure you will be ok. Others You have an agreement with your current ortho, they should find someone else to honor it I think. get a reference from your current ortho about your credit worthiness with them. |
