Issue why do they call it eye tooth. even if you get a cavity. if they fill the cavity will it still be eye tooth? Best Tip well nerdyherm... answer is right, because of the length of the roots. but for the rest of your answers, if you get a cavity in your eye tooth then you have an eye tooth with a cavity. and if you get a filling then you have a cavity with a filling. it does not quit being an eye tooth, because of a wound. if you get a wound on any part of your body, that part of you body does not stop being what it was, unless it is amputated. shalom? Source(s): common sense, for the most part. Others In the old days of free-fighting, they used that tooth to bite out eyeballs! lol I think it is because they are below your eyes I think it is called an 'I-tooth'...not an 'eye-tooth'. My assumption on the reason that it was called an I-Tooth is that the tooth is actually called an incisor. I figured 'I' was an abbreviated version of incisor. I am only guessing at this one but I think its because it is directly under the eyes It's under your eye...and yep. |
