Why do dentists always ask you questions when they have a drill/scalpel in your mouth? |
Issue My dentist would ask me about university whilst examining my teeth-like i'm gona be able to answer! Best Tip Because they think we are idiots who will actually try to answer the question!! And, ya know what?? WE DO TRY!! LOL Others A bit like my woman when she has my thingy in her gob...try asking her if you can cu um... cause they aren't really interested they are only doing it to keep your mind off what they are doing....btw you'd be amazed at what they ask you and what you reveal while under the 'gas'. maybe to try and relax you??? to stop you thinking about what he is doing!!! They try to distract you from the pain. They want you to come back to them for more work done and not have you being afraid. They speak dentist, and can actually understand what your saying with your mouth wide open and a tool in it. I know, it amazes me too :) He probably finds the tooth work boring and had a moment to start a conversation. It is just like the waitress who stops by your table after you have put the first bites of food in your mouth and asks you how you like the food you are eating. It fits her schedule if not yours. |
