why doesn't colored mouthwash stain my teeth? |
Issue why doesn't colored mouthwash stain my teeth? Best Tip haven't you noticed that everyone has stained teeth Others your a ghost. i never thought about that! I wonder why also. Actually, some oral rinses will stain teeth. The one you're using doesn't for a couple of possible reasons: 1) It isn't on there long enough to do anything. 2) It is colored by something that doesn't stain very easily. [Think spaghetti sauce in china plates--if you get them in the dishwater pretty quickly, they clean up easily] If you want to see some real staining, try either .12% chlorhexidene rinse or a plaque indicator. The latter imparts a nice red hue to your ivories, while the latter will iin many cases form a nice brown sweater. Neither is permanent, by the way, as long as you brush vigorously afterward, as they stain mostly plaque. I'm a dentist. You have got to be kidding me All that color dye is sucked into your tongue before it has a chance. |
