i am having problems with a tooth recently removed and need some answers? |
Issue I had a tooth removed last thursday. They had to stitch it because it was such a bad extraction. I started feeling the pain that night he gave me Vicodin ES and motrin 800 (which makes me sick) the vics didn't even come close to killing the pain. I called over the weekend and told them about the pain and they added an antibiotic to the regimen of painkillers. I went back yesterday and he packed it with clove oil. It fell out by last night. I woke up this morning and was in so much pain that I was crying. The whole right side of my face is hurting and I only have like half of my vision in my right eye and a throbbing socket that is again packed with clove oil. I am worried about the vision problem only having half of my vision in my right eye does anyone have any suggestions? I am supposed to go back to the dentist tomorrow to get it packed again any answers would be appreciated. Best Tip Other than going to the office, you may want to go to the ER. It sounds like you have a dry socket. The treatment of packing the site is appropriate for that kind of problem. However, I have never had a patient come back in complaining of loosing site in an eye. You may want to consider going to the ER or an all night clinic.
