knee replacement 5 yr's ago now i have redness from thereto ankle? |
Issue i had a knee replaced now i have redness to the ankle Best Tip how long has the redness lasted? it could be nothing but it may be the start of an infection.. any swelling or itching in the area? soreness that is more than usual? check with your doctor. It's probably something minor but it could be as serious as your body rejecting the procedure- even 5 years later. Source(s): Navy Corpsman Others i had both knees replaces at the same time 3 years ago if that would be me i would call the doctor to check to make sure its not an infection or blood clod so get on the phone and have it checked asap it is time to see your Doctor. What you are descibing is not normal. No telling what is causing that Reaction. I am not sure how your'e knee replacement question was entered under the dental category, but anyway. 5 years is a long time, and I wouldn't think that your'e body is rejecting the product. But, you could have an infection, or something else could be going on. See your'e md, especially if redness is accompanied by soreness or pain, and if your'e leg is hot to the touch. Good luck. It most likely has nothing to do with the knee replacement, but if its still like that in the morning i would make a dr appt. This knee questions is in the dental category? LOL. I guess it could hurt your teeth. Go to your Orthopedic Dr and get examined. The redness doesn't sound good.' |
