Oh yeah, let's just take a short cut here, nobody will know about it for a while and I still get my money. Their licenses should be revoked...and if the malpractice is on a child, then jail time would be the thing. Others WHY WOULD I EVEN CARE You need to give us something to go on It's already there. Sometimes in the strange case of lawsuits... hey pretty little 16 year olds - put to sleep - and oh, no nurse in the room... or dentists that do unnecessary work to pay for their kids college expenses... Or just because they are stupid and shouldn't have taken up dentistry as their profession... Lots of cases reported. The New York Times. All medical malpractice is a part of a lucrative industry that can take advantage of a patient's lack of understanding of the subject. That doesn't sound like a case of malpractice. That sounds like a case where a person let her teeth go until there was nothing to do but pull them all out and replace them with prosthetics. Then, it sounds like the bone structure that held the teeth in was also so badly damaged from years of neglect that it couldn't hold in the prosthetics. It isn't malpractice. It is years of really poor dental hygiene. That is a condition your own nose will tell you exists, no dentist need be the one to tell you about that. It's her own fault. And, if a child's teeth are ever in that condition or this occurs to a child, it isn't the dentist who should be jailed, it's the parent. |
