Issue i just had a tooth pulled. how do i get it to stop bleedin? Best Tip Where is the gauze they put in there?? I would call the dentist. You can try using a tea bag on it. Others roll up some 4x4 gause and put it in the space where the tooth was and bite down THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU GAUZE TO TAKE HOME WITH YOU PLUS POST OPP. INSTRUCTIONS. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE GAUZE IN AND APPLY PRESSURE WHICH MEANS JUST BITING ON THE GAUZE SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT!!! THE BLOOD HAS TO CLOT!!! IF THIS DOES NOT WORK YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DENTIST BACK!! The first person has a legitimate treatment. Tea bags do help reduce blood flow. However realize that a little bleeding can look like alot because it mixes with saliva. If it continues to bleed though contact your dentist immediately dds Biting gently on the gauze they have hopefully provided you with should help the bleeding. It has to clot. If it hasn't stopped, call the office and go back to be checked. Some bleeding is normal. Prolonged or heavy bleeding is not! Best wishes. |
