For starters, God is not performing the root canal.....What is with these bible thumpers?

I had a root canal and I had the worst experience, but even that wasn't enough to never have another one. Really, you'll be fine, but if you are in pain, KEEP CALLING THE DENTIST. They need to know. They will give you the lowest dose and quantity of pain pill, so I had to call the dentist to have the dose increased and called him 4 times to get the 10-pill prescription renewed. Then, he asked me to come back, opened me up and found an absess. He drained the pocket of fluid and fixed me up right. I just kept taking pain pills and a week later, I was fine. No, it'll be fine. If you can, let them gas you, it helps. The worst part is the needle they numb you with. Youll be fine.

No, root canals were something to be feared 20 -30 years ago, but with the advances in dentistry today, they are done with very little discomfort to you. If you are getting a root canal done, chances are that you are in more pain now than you will be from the procedure itself...good luck
No, not if you have a good dentist. Dentistry is pretty painless now a days.
yes my dad is a dentist and they hurt lick crazzy he said. once i wached him do one and they stick at least 20 niddles in your gum after they pull the tooth. its not a good thing to get trust me.
