How do I get my upper left molar loose?

I had a cavity several months ago, and the dentist refused to pull it. It grew into a gaping hole, and last week the back part broke off. It hurts almost daily and when I cause suction on it my whole top left of my mouth throbs. What can I do for the tooth if I cannot find a dentist who will accept my medicaid?

im a dentist and if you came to me (a non medicade office) we would probably pull it. I would really need to see it in the office with a x-ray. If we could save it with a filling we will, but if the decay is into the nerve and requires a root canal then another treatment option is extraction and both are fine options medically and legally.
As for the cavity several moths ago it was probably fine to do with a filling but now it has gotten ALOT worse, which it can in a few months.
Now if you go and see him he will most likely pull it.
Dont wait any longer you may develop a very bad infection that may enter your bloodstream and my kill you and this can all happen in a few hours too. (yes im not kidding and this is not a scare tactic - i had a patient that didnt listen to me and didnt get their tooth pulled and was in the hospital later that week with IV antiboitics and was lucky to be alive).
As for what you to do if you cannot find a medicaid dentist, go find another dentist (any dentist or oral surgeon) who will pull that tooth today. Dont worry about the money (approx $100 - $300)get it out of there, use your credit card, or see me we put people in these situations on pay us whenever you can plan. Its cheaper to see the dentist than the emergency room.

You should let the dentist take care of that because you could cause damage to the jaw bone. You don't even know if that this problem could be repaired. Give it a chance.
Call your medicaid worker - tell her your predicament.

Let her know the dentist refused to pull.

She/he should be able to steer you towards the dentists that will take you; if not, at least those who accept low income/payments.

They certainly can't just leave you in pain . . .
