Can you re-calcify your teeth?

Issue
If you've stripped the calcium from your teeth with bad habits can you restore it?

Best Tip
You are talking about the enamel coating that surrounds the tooth. Unfortunatly once this layer is gone (usually by hard brushing or cavities) it is gone forever. Fluoride (found in flouride treatments and mouthrinses such ACT) can help strengthen this layer. Often a Dentist can place a tooth colored filling to insulate the area where the enamel has been stripped away, this helps with cold and hot sensitivity.

Others
yes u can,,call the dentist
Re-clacify...NO.

Treat it, YES. All you can do at this point is keep a close eye on it, so it doesnt worsen and turn into a cavity. Brushing with a fluoride toothpaste, twice a day helps it from worsening. If its bad enough, your Dentist will give you a special toothpaste ( a prescribed, Stannous fluoride toothpaste NOT sold in stores).

And its NOT from brushing to hard. It's from a calcium defenciency. Meaning NOT enough calcium in your system. Have your 6 month check ups regularly, to keep a closeful eye on it.
