Best Tip
The unskimmed milk will not alone cause the diabetes. First you need to try increasing your physical activity. At age 26 you should be doing something. If your a physically disabled you should try some range of motion exercises. Do what you can to get active. There are tons of things to do...ask your doctor. You need to beef up on the veggies and healthier foods! Consuming high fat foods will increase your weight and will put you more at risk. Try just the egg whites instead of the yolks. Milk is a good idea for the bones...even though you can get supplements they don't complete your need for calcium. You only absorb 20 PERCENT of what's in supplements. Try skim milk it contains the same amount of calcium that whole milk does. Source(s): nursing student

It's the egg yolks that contain all the cholesterol. It's a better idea to just take a calcium pill every day for your calcium - you get more form one pill than you can from 4 cups of skim milk a day. Because you are sedentary, you really need to watch your calories and food containing cholesterol. Anything from an animal will have cholesterol - try eating more veggies, it's better for you! (lay off the refined sugars too!)
There is much more cholesterol in eggs' yolks actually. Consider that.
Drinking of unskimmed milk and consuming yellow yolk of the eggs can cause high triglycerides, LDL and serum cholesterol in the blood. This will lead to hypertension and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Hypertension, hyperlipidemia and sedentary occupation are some of the causes for Diabetes and Coronary artery disease.
Please see the webpages for more details on Diabetes and Coronary artery disease.

one should take only 1-2 cup of milk in a day. instead of taking milk you can take milk product such as butter milk.
