*Health Issues>>>Diet & Fitness issues>>>I'm 15 years old and overweight. I really want to lose weight but I'm not sure how to start and keep up a diet |
Issue I've tried just eating less, today I actually got out and jogged a mile. I can start something for a few days, but then I'll just give up. Best Tip My daughter is 14 and last year she was in a size 16/18. I cut her back on the amount of food she ate and only aloud her to have 1 soda pop a week, she only had sweets twice a week. She started playing Basketball at school. Now she is a size 3. So just try this. I hope it works for you. Remember to hold your head up high and don't listen to all the jerks in the world. My prayers are with you. Others It helps me to plan it all out and put it somewhere to remind myself of my goals. Good Luck!!! 鈾? Start buy getting up off your but stop watching TV and playing games and go out side and do something most children are so lazy they cant get up.Enroll in school sports just get up the weight will start coming off if you stay doing something you wont have time to eat. it's not necessary to "jog", you can just walk for 30 minutes, try doing it after school, or any moment you're not home, about diet, just try not to eat anything too grasy or fried and if possible, take edulcorant instead of sugar, just for a while....but the most important thing, EXCERCISE!!! anyway you can!!! honestly, the best diet is simply eating well and excercise. do you know what your blood type is? if so, go get this book called "Eat Right For You Blood Type" Basically, there are certain foods that you should eat and avoid, based on the blood type you are. I was in the same boat you are in, and no joke, I got this book and followed it, and I lost 36 pounds by avoiding the foods that I am supposed to avoid, and walking for 20-30 minutes. But - depending on how overweight you are, you should always seek the advice and motivation from your parents and doctor. You are young still, and you may grow out of the weight. Another tip - Try drinking a lot of ice cold water. You actually burn calories by drinking ice cold water becuase it cools down your body's core temperature, so your body has to create energy to bring the temperature back up!! Not only that but it helps increase your metabolism! Good Luck!! You need to educate yourself on what foods nourish your body and which just contain empty calories. Read books and magazines on nutrition, this will help. Then apply what you have learned. Most people who are fat just eat too much of the wrong foods. If you like the taste of junk food, that's fine but just taste it. A scoop of ice cream taste the same as a half gallon. Ask your parents not to buy soft drinks, potato chips or french fries, if it isn't in the house you will eat less. Replace soft drinks with water. Good luck. Experience. |
