Issue Can someone please tell me sources of potassium. I have a very low potassium level because of medications, and I don't know of many foods that are rich in potassium. Any suggstions? Thanks! There are potassium salt substitutes for people on low sodium diets. Ive tried them and really cant tell much difference. They are a good source as well. The banana is your best bet. bananas are a great source bananas and potatoes definitely and sweet potatoes and if you are taking a lot of medicines, sometimes you can't enough of these things to make a difference and have to have a good strong potassium from the health food store. Orange juice yogurt bananas Bananas are the best.. eat one a night and that will help your potassium levels..especially if you get calve cramps when you sleep because of your low levels.Good Luck Go to your search engine and type in "foods with potassium" and you'll find all you need and more. |
