*Health Issues>>>First Aid issues>>>What is quickest way to get a rug burn to heal? |
Issue A friend has a fairly large rug burn on the bottom of their back. What can be used to help heal it as quickly as possible? Best Tip Zincofax or any zinc cream takes the itch away (as it heals) & soothes it as well. I don't wanna know what caused this. ;) Others clean it good and a triple antibiotic ointment or burn cream that you can get any any local pharmacy should help clear it up. just keep reapplying if it gets dried out. Dont be engaged in THOSE types of activities on the carpet next time! But really, some neosporin or other antibactrial type ointment will do the trick. Some vitamin E oil will help as well. Hopefully it will heal in enough time that she wont get caught and asked exactly HOW it happened. umm I have done the same.........:) I don't know that there is any quick way. But I do that vitamin E oil or cream will help with scarring. A "friend" huh? Yeah, I used to get those on my knees a lot. Neosporin! Aloe plant lotion works surprising well on any burn including sun burn and carpet bur (get the blue minty smelling stuff its less sticky) |
