Would you allowed me to perform CPR on you if needed?
I mean in real emergency only.Would you sue me for breaking your ribs during chest compressions or causing a minor illness like cough or sorethroat due to mouth-to-mouth breathing eventhough i've saved your life?Can we be friends after i manage to revive you?Would you marry me?hehehe...(the "marry me" is not really a serious question but you can answer it if you wanted to:-))

Yes I would allow you to do CPR on me if it was medically needed, and even if you broke my ribs I would be grateful. Sure, we could be friends...I would be forever indebted to you, but I wouldnt go as far as marrying a complete stranger, especially without knowing if you are male or female LOL.

Well first of all I would let you do CPR on me. I dont think I would have much of a choice : )! Second of all I dont think that I would sue you if indeed you saved my life. Now if you broke my ribs then I dont know. That is a hard choice. IT would all depends on the situation. Hope I answered your question.
My own thought
Are you certified, and don't have HIV or AIDS? If you're certified, sure. If you're certified and are indeed HIV positive or have AIDS, I hope you carry a pocket respirator.

And for the record, the Good Samaritan Law prevents you from being sued for broken bones in the event you are certified. However, if you knowingly pass on HIV/AIDS without using precautions, you can be sued.

EDIT: For the ignorant, it's quite common to break the sternum and some ribs whilst adminstering chest compressions. You try pushing on someone's chest hard enough to pump his heart for him and not break any bones - it's not going to happen.

I wouldn't be mad if you were qualified to administer CPR on my. If I got sick from you're mouth, I'd be pissed. If you broke my ribs, you were doing the CPR wrong, and I'd be pissed... but I probably wouldn't sue, unless you're really really rich. Cuz I'm not. Same with marriage... are you rich?
