I am overweight. I would like to lose weight, but I don't know where to begin.?


Issue
I need to lose about 30 pounds. I have tried some of the fad diets, but they didn't work. I tried the miracle pills, and they just gave me the jitters. I have started cutting back on food intake. I only heat half of each meal. I'm not cheating; I don't eat sweets anymore; I don't eat a lot of carbs. Nothing is helping. I have been doing this for about three months, and I have actually gained weight (4 pounds). I need some help with this. Any suggestions?

Ok.. this worked for me.

MAKE SHORT TERM GOALS!! Do not say you want to lose 30 lbs, say you want to lose 5 lbs in the next two weeks. Start our small. If you are working out, remember that muscle weighs more than fat. you may gain, or may not lose anything, but feel how the clothes are fitting.

- DRINKING NOTHING BUT WATER!
- NO MORE FAST FOODS
- LOWER CARB INTAKE, NOT ELIMINATE
- EXERCISE 2 times a week 2 hrs a day
- KEEP ACTIVE, take stair, park farther
- GET ENOUGH REST at least 8 hrs.
- A Fat burner helped me at that time it was stacker 3(they are addictive), I was not sweating when i worked out, so the pills helped.
- TELL PEOPLE about your progress, and what you are doing, this will keep you motivated to keep going.
- DONT WEIGH your self everyday, once a week is good enough to track, you should be losing about 1-2 lbs a week.

I hope this helps, i lost 35 lbs in approx 6 months.

I lost 150 lbs using diet and exercise. If you are seriously deiting and exercising and still not losing weight, you may have a medical problem that you do not know about. You should talk to your doctor at this point.
i have a suggestion, either be serious about it or give up. there's no secret, it's simple, take less calories in, and or burn more calories then you take in with exercise. let's go over this again, shovel less in, move around more. that's the big secret that has been eluding you.
Try weight watchers online. You'd be amazed how many points food is that you think is healthy. I love it. you don't have to go to the meetings, you can do everything from home. Good Luck!
