*Health Issues>>>Infectious Diseases issues>>>Is it good for a 7month old baby to get her ears pierced? |
Issue safe? good age to get them pierced? should I wait 'til she's a year or two? Best Tip Yes, it's safe... Any age after 3 months is fine. Before that, it's required/mandatory for the babies pediatrician to pierce her ears. When u get them pierced...make sure that the earrings are indeed real. If not, it'll cause irritation and possibly keloid. (Mother of 2 daughters) 1st daughter had her ears pierced at 3 months and the other I waited until the day she turned a year old. (lazy) lol Others have mercy on the poor child, let her grow up and decide for her own self, good luck its fine i know people who has their pierced at like 4 months and they are okay you just have to keep them from messing with it but they should just think of it as part of them untill they realize its not At this age, she won't remember the pain, and she is less likely to pull and tung on them like she would if she were older. Well I don't think it would be to bad for the baby, but I would wait until your child can talk. She might not want earings. Plus, then she can tell you if her earings are hurting her, or when it is time to twist them. It might not be bad or the baby, but there would be a lot more crying! Get it done and over with so about time she gets older it will be well healed up.I got my daughter ears pierced when she was 3 months old. The older she gets and knows what is going on she will not sit still so someone can stab her in her ear. So hurry up and get it over with and give her some Motrin or Tylenol afterwards.Good LUck! Just ask him. |
