is it bad to have white spots on my tonsils? it's just on one and it is a little swollen?

i had stroptococus about 2 monthst ago but went away then last week i went to the doc n he said that i was fine but now it hurts again

Yes it is bad. Not life and death bad but it means you have a infection. It could be stroptococus again or just tonsilious but going to the doctor is a good idea. You may need to get your tonsils taken out. Source(s): Child who had problems

dude i think u have the same thing u should go to the doctor. Maybe go to a different one.
I doubt you are going to keel over from it, but I'd go back to the doctor. Make sure you tell him that you have white spots on your tonsils and make sure that he does a throat culture (the back-of-the-throat swab thing that makes you gag).
Sounds like strep throat, go back to doc because it can be hard to kick and can keep coming back. Good Luck.
