if a cut don't scab can it heal and how long does it take?

i have a a cut on my face, it didnt scab and it its red.. its now a month and it han't even heal to nomal skin color. i am dark skin and its very embarrsing . i see that slowly some dark pigment is filling in. is it healing nor do i need plastic surgery(lol)

It's best to start the healing process off with a good ointment (neosporin) and since you're dark skinned and the cut is on your face, try Palmer's Cocoa Butter products to even your tone back out.

Sounds like it's healing to me. Only way to be sure is to have a doctor look at it.
if you have a cut on your face and it doesnt scab over, it usually means the cut is infected..you need to apply some antibiotic ointment over it. and let the ointment do it's job. after awile, the redness will stop and then you will see some scabbing. do this daily to avoid an nasty infection.
