after a vasectomy, do men experience any problems with sexual performance?

Issue
Because a man is not ejaculating sperm, does that cause a decrease in the "pleasure sensation"? Are the tubes burned or tied in the operation? What, if any, are the long term effects of the operation? Is anybody seriously displeased that they had the procedure?

Best Tip
A man still ejaculates after a vasectomy, just no sperm is in the mix. There have been two men in my life who have had vasectomies, who have been close enough to talk openly with about it. My first husband's libido definitely decreased after the vasectomy, and I was definitely displeased.

The other man's libido also decreased, but it is unknown how much of that was due to the vasectomy and how much to his blood pressure medications. His spouse was also displeased by that result.

Don't know about the exact procedure, except that I think the tube actually gets cut.

Others
My brother had one and he did not have any problems. He was sore for a bit afterwards. The tubes were cut and then burned to lessen the chance of them growing back together. It is a very simple and common procedure. Other than maybe some swelling and bruising and discomfort there should not be any long term effects. I have not heard of a man having problems with performance afterwards if there is it is rare.
at least in theory, it should not happen. people have normal sex lives after vasectomies.
what happens during surgery, yes, the vas deferens is cut and tied
