I had a Ct scan of my head because I hit my forehead hard, I have continuous headaches, results were normal.? |
Issue My balance is off, my vision blurred, and I have these constant heads, how come the ct scan did not show what is wrong, what else could cause these symptoms this happened six weeks ago. Best Tip Something is missing! which part of the head got a knock? How old are you? What knocked you? Now the CT scan could only show an abnormal sculp and definately any lesions in the brain matter but not the impairments caused. In old age, the brain shrinks and its movement in the head is increased. If there was any movement of the brain matter, then the CT scan will never show until after sometime. Try another CT scan or from a different place. Good luck and quick recovery Others You really must go to another doctor. That just doesn't sound right. I've done that before and it only lasted for three days. Did the problems start occurring right after you hit your head? Or did you have some of the symptoms before that? The Computed Tomography (CT) scan may not show up every detail. There could be something there that the scan missed. A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan may be able to pinpoint some problems that the CT missed. It's been six weeks, and you're still having headaches and blurred vision? I'd try seeing a nuerologist, or try pushing the doc. to schedule you for an MRI. Best of luck. - john Well to say when you hit your head it causes your brain to kind of hit the insides of you skull and cause a bruise on your brain and some swelling of the brain if continues I would seek a another opinion I know I'v been there www.braininjury.com Not to scare you but I just had a friend die from brain cancer. It all started with headaches, dizziness and blurred vision. He never had headaches in the past so I told him to go to the doctor which he did and the results showed 20 cancerous tumors in his brain. He died on May 8, 2006. Get a second opinion before it is too late. The earlier something is detected the better it is to cure it. Good Luck! |
