I do not think it does. In fact, I have never seen a person get disability on this basis.

Being a drunk or drug addict does so I would think that COPD would be a qualification for it also. If you have a doctor to say that your condition is not going to allow you to earn a living and you have met the income ratio then I would try. Also you will have a better chance to get it if you have an attorney, they will get 25% of whatever is given to you depending when you file. i.e. if you filed in January and were awarded in June then the attorney would get 25% of the months you were waiting.
