What muscles should train with eachother in a work out...?

I'm 17.. I am old enough to work out... right? I work out 3 times a week but I'm not really sure if what I'm doing is right.. Im just started started 3 weeks ago. Anyone here who I can add on yahoo messenger and help me out and give me a lil advice when I got questions n stuff?

Yes you are old enough to work out. It's a good age to start, while you body is on the later end of the growth spurt. I don't have yahoo! messenger, but talk to me if you have MSN. I'm a trainer and I like to help people with remedial or growth-related issues.
You'll want to work muscles that work together on the same day.
Like your push muscles, the chest and triceps on one day, and your pull muscles, the back and biceps, another day. It's taking advantage of body mechanics. Source(s): personal trainer
