What to do for low testerone? |
Issue Is there something to take for it or do you have to go to the doctor for medicine for it. Best Tip watch porn sites or XXX movies Others you go to the doctor. However, women only need one twentieth of what men need. Have tests taken to see if the person is in the "normal" range for their sex. If too low, they have something called "Androgel" which is absorbed through the skin. By the way I assume you mean "testosterone" right? Here is a link to the Androgel information: http://www.androgel.com Weights, running, abstinence, add seaweed to diet, rest, meditation. All in balance. See a good chinese doctor for accupuncture and herbs. There are quite a few ways to increase low testerone. Exercise and activity can make a big difference. They also have patches in different dosages, as well as a gel that is rubbed into the chest, and there are injections. They are considered a controlled substance so you do have to get a script from the doctor. Women also have to be careful and not get the gel or anything on them. But I have heard of cases where women have had testerone for different reasons too. The best thing to do would be to go to the doctor, have them test your levels and see what they recommend. Testosterone preparations can be injected, given orally (but they don't work very well that way), or by skin patches (just ask Barry Bonds). There is one other thing and that is DHEA which is a hormone precursor to both testosterone and estrogen. It is sold as a food supplement and is not expensive - I've seen it at Costco. The usual dosage is 25-100mg/day once in the morning. The jury is out on this substance, but there is weak evidence in some scientific studies that it can help. But go to the doctor first and get tested. Be sure to get the "free bio-available" testosterone level checked in addition to the total testosterone in the system. |
