my friend had an stroke ten days back.doc has advised him rest fr another two weeks fr there r chances again? |
Issue my friend has had stroke bt doc has askd him to take rest and nt exert two weeks after that an MRI will be done.then it can be ascertained as to whether he can continue his normal life.wht does this mean Best Tip strokes can take along time to over come, and some people depends on hoe sevier it was may never develope 100 percent, and mri tells doctors what the percent of damage of the body it did, be there, be strong, for that person, they may also go into a stage of helplessness, be there be the friend Others That you have no clue as to how to write English. That your friend has to take it easy for a while. In two weeks the doctor will do a bunch of tests to see if your friend will be able to fully recover (be the way they were before the stroke) There are lots of reasons for having a 'stroke' I assume MRI would involve some sort of scan? I had one recently (stroke & scan) so I can relate my own experience! After the stroke (which lasted only seconds and involved a bit of leg twitching, left leg and numbness in left arm) I had the usual tests, blood pressure heart beat , my reactions to having the doc prod me about in various parts of my body, all proved to be OK. The last thing on his list was a scan on both sides of my neck, the coarotee? veins ( definetly spelt wrong but I know it sounded like carrot)! However my left side was 80% blocked and I now need an op to 'rod it out'! Nothing to worry about, if your friend needs this op the proceedure will be fully explained , and if this has been determined to be the cause he should be 'stroke free' from then onwards!! My usual advise to this type of question is "Talk it all over with your doc" My own experience may have nothing at all to do with your friends problem! And thats what doctors are paid very good money for, to sort out any questions or problems! It is almost impossible to read your post because your English is so bad. However, I think you want to know what causes a stroke, or what it involves. Strokes can be caused by many things, from high blood pressure to weakend blood vessels. Either way, it means that a blood vessel in his brain burst, and bled into his brain, causing damage. This may be temporary or permanent, depending on the extent of bleeding, and the location. The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body; so if he has any left or right sided weakness, this was caused by a bleed on the opposite side of the brain. Some damage can repair itself; some can't. Patients can also be retrained to use different parts of the brain to compensate for damage to things like the speech center and coordination; but this takes time. |
