Should I start taking sleeping pills? |
Issue I work and go to school ful time, I have class 3 days a week, but work 5-6, I often dont get home from work til 11pm, and when I get home I am WIDE awake, I lay in bed, try to sleep, nothing, I often get 2-3 hours of sleep at most, I have to get up at 630am for class. Is there anything I can do to help me get to sleep quicker? Should I try toget ambien or something?? Best Tip I would say, readjust your life first, take Ambien if nothing else works. I like Ambien, I took it for a year and had very few side effects from it, I like the delicious sleepy fog from it too. Its addictive and hard to get off it though. Takes a week or so. Try chamomile tea first. Source(s): experience Others Yes you can, get trazedone or something. works like a charm ask ur doc. Sleeping pills are 1 way and they do it quick but there is a risk. Ask your doctor. Also, trazadone needs a prescription .. and has a "hang over" affect .. leaves you feeling very sleepy for the rest of the day. I hope you can get at least 6 hours of sleep a night .. it will catch up with you otherwise. Good Luck! :) try some time management before medication. ambien and any sleep aid is addicting. try yoga, reading, a warm bath, monitor your caffeine intake (no caffiene after 2pm) visit your local health food store ask for some good bedtime tea. your body is not ready for bed immediately when you get home. wind down first. |
