Stds from oral sex? re phrased..?

Well obviously herpes if they have cold sores or somthing.. but besides the curable stds... you cant get hiv from it can you? I meant for receiving.. NOT giving..

I don't understand why you're distinguishing between curable and not Stds! On both cases you can give and receive infection!
At least, realize that often who have some Stds (as HIV) has no clear and visible external sign showing you the disease!

to get aids from saliva you would need to come in contact with a huge amount of it. if a person has a virus, it is in thier saliva, so yeah it is possible to get an std from getting oral sex, but very uncommon. unless like you said it is herpes.
