What inside your neck/throat , can be injured to cause pain when you swallow?

Issue
i have this injury and i've already asked questions about it here, but i wonder what could be injured..is it a cut? or is it a scratch, i don't get it., it seems bad because it hurts bad but it's not bleeding. All i have is

-pain which is quite painful but it only happens when i swallow and sometimes when i yawn and open the mouth big. When i don't swallow it feels pretty normal no pain.

-after i pass saliva, i hear a grrrrrrrrr sound coming out of the throat, and this is not at all a burp. it's just an automatic small sound "grrrr" after i swallow saliva.

. Will it take years to heal? and should i just get used to this pain
