My ongoing ear wax problem is driving me crazy, any one can give some advice? |
Issue Hi all. 26m here. I started 1 month + ago to feel like my ear was clogged, and i would wake up with my ear feeling so clogged i thought i was losing my hearing. went to doc recently, he prescribed drops( Murine ear wax removal system)..I actually felt even worse, like my ear was so much more clogged it felt as if it was going to pop.. now 1 day after, i still feel clogged. very bad.. he he, so i decided to look at my ear with the webcam to see what was going on. Notice i said webcam, because it's an IBOT computer camera but i don't mean i showed it to someone , i mean i connected it to the computer and with a computer video program you can see the video on the computer screen. So what i noticed is i have a tremendous amount of hard wax starting from the ear canal and going deeper into the ear. no wonder i feel like this. But i've used peroxide and murine ear wax removal kit,, and i don't get any relief..i even tried water..and that hard wax doesn't seem to disolve.. what todO? Best Tip Go to the doctor and request that he/she flush your ears, my son is 9 and he has the same problem, he has to go to the doctor every 6 to 8 weeks to have them flushed. Doctor says he has narrow ear canal, and the flushing isn't painful, it just feels funny he says. Source(s): use the murine solution for a few days so it can loosen the wax a little before you have them flushed. Others flush out with perioxide, after you get water in ears put alcohol in them How many times did you use the wax removal system? Do the instructions say that you have to use it more than once, or periodically? Try using it a couple of times if the instructions say it's safe to do so. If that doesn't work, go back to your doctor. DON"T go rooting around in there with anything - have your doctor clean it out. in china or japan er something ,they actually have ear wax removal clinics....talk to your doctor...maybe there is something like that near you.... You could possibly have swimmers ear, it is a condition caused by the chemicals in the water system. If you have had your ears flushed out, this might help. My doctor recommended that I use the shower stream to wash my inner ear....just wash with soap and water like normal but let the stream of the water hit your inner ear. It is only because you don't have proper drainage in your ear, it is common. When swimming; use ear plugs and if you have to take a bath instead of a shower, don't put your head below the water. Hope this helps my dad was losing his hearing so my mom went to the health store, or vitamin store and bought these ear wax candles. what it does is draws your ear wax up into the candle. i sounds weird but it WORKS. they used to be a huge thing. they would have parties surrounding around this theme. just go to the vitamin store and ask the sales person and ask them to tell you how you do it. i know it sounds weird but it's worth a try. |
