How often should you change your razor if you are male? And which razors are the best? |
Issue is more blades really the best and how much is fair? Best Tip I use a Fusion Razor, they are the most expensive blades by far, but they give me the best shave I have ever experienced. The Mach 3 razors are good too. I use to use them before I tried the Fusion. With the mach 3 I would change the blades out every 1-2 weeks depending on how dull they got. But with the Fusion I seem to replace the blades every week. I have a fairly heavy beard and will have bad stubble by the end of the day using the mach 3 but I no longer have that problem with the powered version of the Fusion. One other thing that may help you with getting a good shave is to shave in the shower. Your beard stays softer and easier to shave while in the shower (or it does for me). I use aloe vera gel as my after shave lotion to deal with any razor burn. Others Anything over 2 blades on a razor is not needed. How long it lasts depends on how rough your hairs are that you are shaving off. For a clean shave, you can use the same shaver for 3 to 5 days. Most of this depends on how much facial hair you have, how often you shave, and the sensitivity of your own skin. I've found that more blades = more money. Most people can't get by with a single blade. Try a double or triple to start. If you want to try four or five - go for it. The more often you shave, the longer your blades will last.
