I hadly have sleep. I could lay in bed for 8 hours without catching any sleep.?

For instance for the last 9 consecutive months, i have not had any sleep. I know this not normal.... has ut happen to anyone? How can help myself with this??

you really need to call your Dr..Have you tryed over the counter sleep aids???
maybe this is a medical condition like insomnia or something....take sleeping pills if you have to because if you don't sleep you can die...
Ask your doctor about lunesta or something. You really need some sleep.
limit the amount of caffeine and sugar you consume. Also use bedroom only for sleeping, no tv, radio, etc. Anything that causes any amount of mental stimulation while trying to sleep will keep you awake. set yourself a scheduled bedtime and awake time. I know it might sound kind of childish but the body responds better to a set routine. If you still can't sleep get up and read a book until you feel yourself getting sleepy then go to bed. Even if you just got to sleep an hour before time to get up make yourself get up. Take no more than a 30 min nap to get through til bed time. Nothing to eat 4 hours before you go to bed. if you exercise make sure to do your work out in the morning time. if this still does not help you contact your doctor and let him/ her prescribe something to help you get to sleep at night. No sleep at all for nine months? That sounds hard to believe. Chronic insomnia is a serious problem that can have many complications. You should see your doctor about perhaps taking something like Ambien to help you to sleep.
