trazodne, serquel, and geodon all give me restless leg symdrome and side effects medicine hasnt worked ..help?

Best Tip
I take Seroquel and at first it too gave me RLS. Keep on with it, or, ASK your doctor if you can increase the dosage.

Sometimes increasing the dosage of a medication will (believe it or not!!!) help to get rid of side-effects. Eg. With Seroquel - it also made me very sleepy. Increasing the dosage solved that. ASK your doctor before increasing the dosage!!!!

Others
either stop taking them or what else do you do? do you smoke? what do you eat during the day?

talk to the doc about this, if they don't listen pitch a ***** big time tell them it makes your life very uncomfortable and you'll stop taking them or get another opinion.

sometimes that works.

if you drink coffee, cut down your intake. if you eat alot of junk foods, cut down on that. take in more water and take potassium too. that may help either that or vitamin e. smoking will increase discomfort in the legs too especially if you use medications that increase this discomfort.
What does your doctor say? There are a lot of good medicines out there for whatever mental illness you have. Abilify is usually pretty good when it comes to side effects..Seriquel gives me the restless leg stuff but it's not bad enough to stop taking it. The Geodon and Seriquel are in the same class of drugs. Why are you taking two anti-pshycotics? I've taken Trazadone and it did absolutely nothing for me. Good luck.
