Best Tip
my son is 11 & has been complaining that he can not remember things mainly at school. It really got bad last week. Let me tell you what happened. The teacher got on to him for drawing on his desk & wanted him to clean it up ( they said he drew on the desk the day before in class). My son said that he did not draw on the desk & had no idea how the marks got on the desk. It was just marks no words. Well the teacher said he was lying & my son got so upset that he begain to cry. It got so out of control that the teacher had to get the other students out of the room & get the counsalor to calm my son down. My son was telling the truth & could not understand why his teacher was attacking him like this. You'll never guess this ending we ended up taking him to the hospital he is now diagnosed with partial complex seizures which can cause your child to just look like he maybe day dreaming or not paying attention but really he was having a seizure so in this case my son still don't remember writing on his desk. So if you notice him forgetting stuff alot have a EEG done just in case if you need more help I'll be glad to tell you what we have learned so far.

Others
At that age, who knows if really doesnt remember something, or just doesnt want to tell you.
I have ADD/ADHD and find it hard to put my mind to listening/concentrating for longer than 30 seconds straight, after that things start swaying in and out of my head...that may be the problem...he may have a short attention span, or bad memory...
Does he truly not remember or is he just not interested in talking about it? I remember at about that age feeling like I wanted to test my independence a little more, but my mother still wanted to know everything that was going on in my life. I think it was at about that time that my stock answer to everything she asked me became: Um, huh? I went on to graduate college without any problem.

If his grades haven't suffered, he hasn't become seriously withdrawn, and seems otherwise normal I would not worry about it.
Yep that's how I was as a youngster, as I think about it that's how I am now that i'm old. Dang
probablly normal, kids these days minds wander;opposite sex, homework, latest game or movie, best zit creams to buy lol :P
Yea, like at 12 he really wants to tell his mom what his friends are telling him.
