Should I go on stress leave? |
Issue After 30yrs. of marriage we are now seperated. I have a protection order on me for 1yr. It has been about 3months since the seperation and I am getting worse. I feel like I need a vacation. What do I tell my doctor? Best Tip Tell your doctor the truth. And yes go on stress leave. Until someone has experienced a divorce they cannot understand how it feels. You know how you feel. You need the time to recover. Just find something to do with the time off. DO NOT LIE AT HOME ALONE. That will lead to depression. Take the time off and do something, anything you have always wanted to do with your life. Go spend time with friends or family. Get a pet and love him rotten. Get a new hair trim, or makeover. Just make yourself feel special!! Others everything you just told us LOL I don't think there is such a thing as stress leave, but you can see if you can leave for personal problems. Just let your doctor know what is going on and see what he has to say if anything. I'm sorry about what is going on, and good luck with everything. You just need to get away for awhile to digest all that has gone on. You need a vacation, not necessarily stress leave. Take your holidays and go and relax for a bit. Always remember that honesty is the best policy. Be honest with your dr. it's not like he/she hasn't heard it before anyway and the best way for you to help yourself is by being honest with yourself and your dr. By being honest with your dr. you are providing him/her with information that they can use to better help treat you. Good Luck! You need to quit worring about what was, and get on with your life...Don't look at it as stress, see it as a new begining...Smile and the world smiles with you...:-) be honesty with your drs and most of all yes you need to take time off and dont let this get you to upset please talk to your drs andget you some help before you get a bad depression problemsbeing depressed is not no fun iam linda you need to talk i am around |
