I think that's it topical, oral, anal, nasal, optical, the ear i cant remember the term for that one right now if i can think of more i will get back to ya. IV in the vein IM in the muscle (a shot) sub Q under the skin but not in the muscle.(form of shot) sou Lingual under the tongue PO by mouth Trans dermal thru the skin as in a patch Rectally Inserted in the rectum Vaginally a very few meds are inserted in the cervix Ocular ear drops and eye drops Inhaled That is 11 I can't think of anymore transdermal - through the skin, as in a patch sublingual - desolved under the tongue. oral - via the mouth. rectal - via the rectum intravenous - through a vein intra-arterial - through an artery intramuscular - by injection into a muscle. intravaginal - via the vagina inhalation - inhaled via the lungs |
