Is there a medication to stop nervous ticks and habits? |
Issue Is there a medication to stop nervous ticks and habits? Best Tip It depends on the source. I would suggest seeing a doctor and looking into potentially having a nervous disorder, OCD, or even turrets. There are medication for all three of those possibilities. When I was younger I had very minor (but quite annoying) ticks such as rolling my jaw and blinking excessively. I was diagnosed with mild turrets and placed on medication. If it is a nervous disorder there are medications available for anxiety that could help at minor dosages. The medication Clonazepam at low dosages can help with nervous habits as well as anxiety. Similar effects with the medication Seroquel. Others I think there is but see a doctor I've seen a nervouse FLEA but never a nervous TICK. alcohol? perhaps MDMA or some derivative of such, but I am not sure just from "street know how" and such it may seem as so.... I thought nervous ticks and habits were the result of medication... I think that first, you need to find out what is causing those nervous ticks. It could be the first sign of a serious illness. If not, most doctors will prescribe a muscle relaxer, such as Valium. |
