It must be as much of a problem trying to gain weight as it is to lose it, I do not think that Lexapro sounds very suitable for you to take,as the effect it has on you seem horrible, did you read kuji`s answer, she went through hell. I expect you have tried a most places for suggestions, but have you tried your local health club, as they are not only about losing weight.

I didn't gain weight on Lexapro. I just got violent and the meds they gave me for that made me fat. Now I've stopped all the meds and I'm depressed but not violent and suicidal the way I was with the meds.
no1 can answer that it has different effects on different poeple you will just have to try it out and see but as long as you eat healthy and get exercise i wouldnt worry about the possibilty of wieght gain
