why do i still feel down? |
Issue i hav a fabulos daughter a rented house a much improved relationship with my family had a bad go wif my ex my babys dad and although i dont want hi around anymore i feel low i know i dont want him and i get plenty of support but i still feel empty im not looking for a new man as such havnt really got the interest but i need some advice or tips to improve my mood so i dont feel down and so i can enjoy life im not ruling a new man out but not top of the list lol Best Tip Short and sweet, to directly answer your question you are most likely feeling down due to the missing routine. No matter how bad the relationship was it was still a routine, it was what you knew, it is what you had grown accustomed to. I have been divorced for seven years and still miss some of the routine of then. (and it was miserable). My advice is as some of the others have so eloquently stated, get a new routine, when there is drama in your day find the bright side. Look forward to new friends, a relationship, or just drive with your daughter. Make a new routine for yourself first and see if that helps before you go seeking to get medicated. Source(s): Personal experience and a lot of therapy Others Try and get the man off your mind- get involved with your daughters school and outside activities. Prehaps even have a few girls days out and go shop! If you get out more eventually you will get over your ex and look for new posibilities in life! Good Luck Hi,maybe you have a touch of baby blues try & have a night out. How old is your baby.Good luck depression isn't just about circumstances. If you fixed whatever seems up with your circumstances and you're still depressed, then the depression is the issue. Tip: pills and therapy. There's a combination of the two that's right for everyone. I'm a Prozac and semi-psychodynamic kinda guy; you might like Lustral and CBT, or something else. Go to your GP in a total state; make sure he/she is really worried about you, and you'll get treatment. Or just go private. Listen to some of ur favorite music while eating a bowl of ice cream. mmmm. :) See if you can get involved with a group or organization that helps people who have needs you can meet. Can you help out at a soup kitchen, volunteer at a hospital or nursing home, or maybe take part in the Big Brother/Big Sister proguam? When we give something of ourselves we get back a blessing that out -weighs all our negative feelings. |
