No. Bipolar disorder is a condition affecting the uptake and reuptake of seratonin and norepinephrine in your brain. This causes periods of depression changing to periods of mania (feeling "on top of the world". Brain and all tumors are caused by malignant cells that develop, grow, and mulitply in a certain body tissues (specific to that tissue). If you have bipolar disorder, you should be on medications to manage your symptoms coupled with psychotherapy. If you fear a brain tumor (for whatever reason) you should speak with your doctor. I have had BP for 16 yrs and nothing like that has shown up on any scan
I've never heard that and I've learned a lot about bipolar disorder since my diagnosis in 2000.
I wouldn't be surprised, however, if a brain tumor could cause mood swings.
From What i Know I Dont think that it is possible, but you better be safe then sorry!!

Search it on the internet or go ask your doctor because if you are worried they have the best information!

I've never hear of such a thing. Ask your doctor next time you see him. As far as I know there is no association at all between the two conditions. Brain tumours don't cause bipolar either.
