Could this be Pyschosis or schizophrenia??? |
Issue I have been hearing voices a lot lately and seeing things, more then i used to i used to see things a lot when i was younger but they kinda went away for awhile but now theyre back and worse then ever i had to stay with people with both disorders and it was scary im really scared and im not sure if i shuld tell someone or not somebody please help Best Tip Please do talk to your doctor so he/she can refer you if need be. But, you do need to discuss this as it could be a sign of schizophrenia. It is not something to be ashamed of, you are not crazy! I am sure you must be very scared! I know a lot of people who are going through this. You need counseling and help. If it is schizophrenia, know there are very good meds out there to help you. That combined with counseling should help. Look, my boyfriend has schizophrenia and he is coping fine. OK, I STRESS..I am NOT saying that that is what you have, I am not here to scare you, but if you are afraid, then talk to someone you trust and get counseling from there! Good luck and take care! Others hearing voices is thought to be consistant with schizophrenia, by all means see a psychiatrist, they can prescribe medications that will help alot. RN Go tell someone and see about getting professional help. There are alot of people who have gone through what you are experiencing and they have been helped with medication and counseling. Good luck to you! Schizophrenia *is* a psychosis. I'd get an appointment with your doctor. He can refer you to a psychiatrist. That is scary. If you confide your symptoms with a doctor, you will be diagnosed with mental illness and you will be discouraged from trying to have a normal life. Be careful. Get a correct diagnosis from a reputable psychiatrist. You might need a referral from your primary physician, depending on your insurance. Be honest with them about everything (like if you've used drugs, which could cause symptoms). If you don't treat the symptoms early enough and stick with the doctor's recommendations, you might risk having to "stay with people with both disorders" again. Try prevention first! Good luck. |
