Could you die from taking Zoloft and Lexapro? |
Issue I read that Anna Nicole Smith's son died from taking Zoloft, Lexapro, and methdone. But could the Lexapro and Zoloft do it? Both taken in their prescribed ammounts of course. Best Tip Since Zoloft and Lexapro are both SSRI's (Selective Serotonin reuptake inhibitors), it is unlikely, that he would be on both of them. Being on an SSRI and another type such as Wellbutrin is normal but only for certain periods of time. More likely, his levels of the SSRI were too high causing an imbalance of serotonin in his brain and then with the methodone wearing on his heart... My answer would more likely be that they weren't both prescribed amounts. Others i would not try it. talk to your doctor if that is what you are taking. YOU NEED TO TALK TO YOUR DR AND ASKS WHAT THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE AND THAT YOU ARE CONCERNED.... IM SURE THERE IS MORE TO WHY HER SON DIED THAN JUST THAT.... DONT BELEIVE MEDIA prescribed doses are unlikely to cause death, methadone od or other drugs would be a high suspiscion. good luck ask your docter about this one, and the media isnt always true!!! bt you should check with your docter and express your concerns with him/her. but my personal opinion is that if its prescribed then you will be fine, and NOT die!! i mean what kind of docter gives medicine that can kill?!!? im sure your docter wouldnt, honey, your fine, dont worry, but i still recomend going to talk to your docter. No, not if taken as prescribed. If you have questions about this, talk to your pharmacist. The will have more med information than your doctor would. I was a Certified Pharmacy Tech for years |
