I heard a story and a large famous company in america only hires people with Dyslexia.? |
Issue Anyone else heard or knows anything about this? Best Tip I believe that would be a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. It makes it illegal to refuse to hire someone on the basis of a disability, but it also makes it illegal to make having a disability be a requirement for a job. Furthermore, that would in no way benefit the company as dyslexic people are not necessarily smarter than the general public (certainly they CAN be, but there are plenty of stupid dyslexic people out there too). Others I have never heard of it but I think that it is a great idea. People with dislexia have a terrible time reading let alone functioning well on a job. Did you know that Cher is dyslexic? Its true and look at all that she is done. What a wonderful idea to help out the less fortunate than ourselves. |
