Okay my family suspects my sister is using meth.....? |
Issue we think she is using and we know that her husband is a heroin addict but she still passes drug tests for jobs .so is it out of her system within 24 hours or could she really be clean they also have a 5 year old lose there jobs allot and steal from everyone and hawk everything they and they're daughter owns is there some way to know for sure that she is using.( I have been around allot of tweekers so I know how they act and I am about 95% sure she is doing it )any suggestions would be helpful Best Tip It sounds like you already know, you are in denial, and I know that you love her by your words. I was in denial about my daughter and then I had to face reality when she got busted, it was the worst day of my life with her, little did I know that it would take drug court, many jail visits, 3 rehabs, many AA meeting and a year in prison, fighting,fighting& fighting with her and a whole lot of hell: but she is now clean for 13mths and I hope forever. Your sister need to hear from you that you and your family know whats going on. Your neice is being abused maybe not physicly but watching her parents use and sell everything is a life of hell for her. If my daughter started using again(IV morphine is her drug of choice) I would call child services to get her child and get her busted to go back to jail it is the only thing that gets her strait.Drug court has been the best thing for my daughter she never knows when she will be tested. I hope something will get to your sister before jail, but if it takes jail don't be scared of it, ask for drug court for her. Start going to Alo-non( sp? ). Get help. Get a piece of her hair it stays in your systom for years with a hair foccial it doesn't lie but she has to be detoxing before any test to pass it..Good Luck she is surely using someone else's urine. i don't know what to tell you ..drugs are tough and so hard to get thru to the users..alot of times they just have to hit rock bottom to realize for themselves what they're doing to themselves and everyone around them. just don't be an enabler...don't assist her in her drug -world in any form or fashion. someone really should save that child while there's a chance and get her out of that home or else there's a good possiblity she'll be using in the near future. save the child.. If her husband is a heroin addict, then she is in trouble, and THAT should be your concern. heroin addicts go to any lengths to get the money for their next fix. Pawning items, lying, cheating, and stealing, it doesn't matter to them. Your sister needs to know the FACTS on heroin abuse, regardless of if she is using or not. Right now, she NEEDS you to have a cool head and to HELP her and her child out, not to condemn her. I live with an ex heroin user, and I usually had no choice but to let him have his next fix, or he would become deathly ill (yes, it can happen). He finally got help at a Methadone clinic, and it saved his life...and mine. Sometimes it isn't easy to be married to a drug user. But right now, be her FRIEND. She needs one. Been there, done that |
