Is this an accurate definition of Borderline Personality Disorder?

Issue
I'm trying to find info on Borderline Personality Disorder, I've found the following definition and was wondering if it's an accurate one. It seem different from those found on webMD and most websites.

Here is the Link.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

My sister has been diagnosed as Borderline and this Stanford link sounds like it was written to describe her. She went undiagnosed and untreated for many, many years. She was also suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Syndrome from a rape when she was 13. She began cutting herself when she was 15-16 and was in a full blown emotional breakdown when her marriage of 17 years began breaking up (no surprise her ex was verbally abusive). After going through many doctors she finally found one who diagnosed her and she is currently getting treatment with counseling and medication.

Others
There must be lots of personality disorders, like depression, stress, bi polar(?). Maybe it is important to know what type of disorder you have then apply the definition to that disorder.
xani, borderline persomnality disorder is a specific condition not unlike Narcisism.
That seems to be a pretty good summation of this disorder. These are people who have been considered odd since childhood. They do okay in school, but might be sitting in class picking their noses, wearing or generally not fitting in for any number of reasons. They are people you work with may choose not to socialize or socialize inappropriately. Sometimes it's not a big deal other times you may go out of your way to avoid them.

It's a tough disorder to sum up succinctly.
According to the DSM-IV, the real book you need to consult, (it is the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders for all mental health professionals,) Borderline P/D is a pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impassivity that begins by early adulthood and is present in a variety of contexts.
